What is Vibeland?

Vibeland is an iOS app that builds Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Siri widgets from a plain-English description. Type “today’s calendar with the next two reminders below” and Vibeland generates a working widget that reads your real Calendar, Reminders, Health, and Photos data — entirely on-device.

How do I make a widget?

1. Tap Make a widget on the Home tab.
2. Type a description of the widget you want. Vibeland prompts you with examples on first launch.
3. Tap Generate. AI returns a working widget spec in a few seconds.
4. Preview it in the app. Tap any atom (calendar list, step count, photo, etc.) to edit it directly.
5. Save the widget. Then long-press your Home Screen, tap +, search for Vibeland, and place the widget.

Which devices does Vibeland support?

iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Interactive widgets, Live Activities, and StandBy require iOS 17+. The app also runs on iPad in iPhone-app mode.

Is there a web version?

Each widget you create has a share page at vibeland.app/w/<sharecode>. Tapping the page on an iPhone opens Vibeland directly to install the widget on your own screen.

What are Sparks?

Sparks are credits used to generate widgets with AI. Each AI generation costs 1 Spark. Editing an existing widget by hand, placing it, or sharing it costs nothing.

How many Sparks do I start with?

New accounts get 5 free Sparks on first launch — enough to try the AI generation flow several times. After that, you can buy more.

Spark packs

• Starter Pack — $2.99: 100 Sparks ($0.030 per Spark).
• Creator Pack — $9.99: 500 Sparks ($0.020 per Spark — 33% off Starter).
• Power Pack — $29.99: 1,500 Sparks ($0.020 per Spark, 3× the volume).

Sparks never expire and are tied to your Vibeland account. They are one-time purchases — there is no subscription in this version of Vibeland.

Why consumable Spark packs and not a subscription?

AI generations cost us real money per call. Spark packs let you pay for exactly what you use — no monthly bill, no unused capacity. We may add an optional subscription in a future update for users who generate dozens of widgets per month.

How do I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. Submit refund requests to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t refund directly, but if it’ll help your case we can email you a summary of your purchase and usage — write to support@vibeland.app.

Sparks didn’t credit after purchase

Spark credits sync from Apple to Vibeland’s server. In rare cases the sync is delayed by a few minutes. If it’s been more than 15 minutes:

1. In Vibeland, tap Settings → Restore Purchases.
2. Force-quit Vibeland (swipe up from the App Switcher) and reopen it.
3. If that doesn’t recover the balance, email us with your Apple receipt (you can forward it from reportaproblem.apple.com).

How do I add a widget to my Home Screen?

1. Long-press an empty area of your Home Screen.
2. Tap the + button in the top-left corner.
3. Search for Vibeland.
4. Pick a widget size (small, medium, large, extra-large) — the widgets you created will appear in a list.
5. Choose your widget. Tap Done.

How do I add a widget to my Lock Screen?

1. Long-press your Lock Screen (with Face ID unlocked) and tap Customize.
2. Tap a widget slot, then choose Vibeland.

My widget shows the wrong data

Each atom reads live from your iPhone’s system frameworks (EventKit, HealthKit, Reminders). If the widget is showing stale data, iOS may have throttled the refresh. Pull down from the top of your screen to refresh widgets, or wait a few minutes. If the wrong data persists, tap the widget to open Vibeland — we’ll re-fetch and re-render.

Tap a reminder to complete it (interactive widget)

If your widget has a Reminders atom, tap the checkbox on any reminder to mark it complete. The change is sent to Apple Reminders directly. This works on iOS 17 and later.

Every widget you make is also a Siri command

When you create a widget, Vibeland registers it as a Siri phrase and Spotlight result automatically. Say “Hey Siri, today’s plan” (or whatever you named the widget) and Siri runs it for you. To pick the Siri phrase, tap the widget’s settings in Vibeland.

Sharing a widget

Tap Share on any widget detail page. Vibeland copies a link like vibeland.app/w/aB7kQ2. When a friend opens the link on their iPhone, Vibeland installs the same widget design — but their widget shows their calendar, their steps, their photos. The design travels; your data stays on your phone.

Which permissions does Vibeland ask for?

Vibeland asks for permission only when a widget you build needs it:

• Calendar — first time you build a Calendar atom. Used by the widget extension to render events.
• Reminders — first time you build a Reminders atom. Also used to mark a reminder complete from the widget.
• Health — asked per metric you select (steps, heart rate, sleep, etc.). Granting one metric does not grant any other.
• Photos — uses Apple’s PHPickerViewController, which is permissionless. You hand the picker the specific photos you want.
• Contacts — uses Apple’s CNContactPickerViewController, which is permissionless. You pick the specific contact you want.

How do I revoke a permission?

Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, pick the permission category (Calendars, Reminders, Health), find Vibeland, and turn it off. Widgets that depend on the revoked permission will display an empty state until you grant it again.

Where does my data go?

Personal device data (calendar events, reminders, photos, contacts, health values) is read by the iOS widget extension on your phone and stays there. Vibeland’s server stores only the widget specification (which atoms, which layout, your chosen title and description). Full details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete a widget I made?

Swipe left on the widget in the Home tab and tap Delete. The spec is removed from our server. If the widget was placed on a Home Screen, it will show an empty state and can be removed by long-pressing and tapping Remove Widget.

How do I delete my account?

In Vibeland, open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, widgets you created, share codes, and remaining Spark balance. Local App Group data (photos and contact images you picked) is also removed when you uninstall the app. This is irreversible.

Notifications

Vibeland sends notifications only when a long AI generation finishes while you’re out of the app. Turn them off in iOS Settings → Notifications → Vibeland.

AI generation fails or times out

Most generations complete in ~5 seconds. If a generation hangs for more than a minute:

1. Pull down to refresh the Create screen.
2. Check your internet connection — AI generation requires data.
3. Force-quit Vibeland and reopen it.
4. If a Spark was deducted without a result, email us with the approximate timestamp — we’ll refund it.

The AI built the wrong widget

Tap any atom in the preview to edit it directly — change the calendar query, swap a metric, replace the photo. You can also hit Regenerate with a more specific description (this costs 1 Spark).

Widget doesn’t update on the Home Screen

iOS throttles widget refreshes to save battery. Most Vibeland widgets refresh every 15–30 minutes. To force a refresh:

1. Tap the widget — it opens Vibeland and re-renders.
2. Or remove the widget from your Home Screen and place it again.

Sign-in fails

If Sign in with Apple fails, try Continue with Email or Continue with Google. If all three fail, check your internet connection and email us. Make sure your iOS account has at least one Apple ID configured if using Sign in with Apple.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall Vibeland on a new device, sign in with the same account and tap Settings → Restore Purchases. Your Spark balance is tied to the account, not the device.
